The saga with the company website took another twist this week. About a week ago I heard that another department were making their own plans to bring the web management in house. I realised that if I wanted to heard, I had to act straight away. So I started looking intently into CSS, to see if it was easy to tighten the code by using it. It still seems to be a language with as many problems as solutions, but still worth looking into. I also spent two nights doing mock-ups and a proposal. On Thursday I submitted it. Early signs are promising, but now we sit and play the waiting game. I'm not a work now for a couple of weeks but our current web contract finishes any day, so things could get interesting next week.
