I don't know about you, but I find the idea of the commercially available Philips Defibrillator slightly disturbing.
OK, I don't doubt that they can save lives, but giving the ability of delivering shock treatment to the unqualified general public? Just seems kinda wrong to me. But then again, Taser EMD weapons are legal in the US, aren't they?
