Around the J6/7 area of the M1 you are compelled to close all the vents and windows in your car. The reason being the repulsive chemical, rotting smell that permeates the interior of your vehicle, should you not react quick enough.
After a quick scan of Google, I can only assume that the nauseating stench is coming from the Pishiobury Site of Wastelink, judging by the location.
It makes driving in the Summer across that section very unpleasant.
