I've been noticing this alot recently... (Yes, it's another driving rant, sorry). People who don't know the difference between a stop line and a give way line at a "peak time" traffic light junction.
The rule, for those of you not familiar with British Highway Code is that when the lights are off you drive up to the "Give Way" line and wait your turn, but when the lights are operating you stop at the "Stop Line" which is always a few meters (I don't know the exact distance, but I'm sure there is one!) before the "Give Way".
These days I see more and more people ignoring the "Stop Line" and driving right up to the "Give Way", whilst the lights are in operation. Most of these are just regular cars, not "reps" or "boy racers", just regular, ignorant folk that need to take their driving theory test again!
