Apologies dear readers for the unscheduled hiatus, but I've been in hospital. Nothing serious, just keyhole to remove my Gallbladder (Laparoscopic Cholecystectomy). I now have 4 neat little scars and a stone in a bottle to remind me!

I'm stiff, but reasonably active. Not good driving yet though. The cat is enjoying the company. It's good to have him around.

In other news we sold the house yesterday, so I could be moving soon. They're "first-time buyers" and need to be out of their property in February. Doubly good news is the first property we ever looked at, six months ago is, astonishingly still on the market, so I'm hoping we can make an offer. We've seen nothing that comes close and it really is the "house of my dreams". Watch this space.
