Wow, what a movie!
I went to see it on Friday, knowing very little about the series "Firefly" on which the movie is based.

I have to admit the first time I tried to watch an episode I just didn't "get it", but having watched the first two episodes in order, it's great.

Too bad the series got axed by the network, I guess they "didn't get it" either.

Oh boy did they drop a clanger!

I can't comment on how the movie compares to the series as I haven't seen enough, but I urge you to go watch it, especially if you like Buffy the Vampire Slayer series - it's written by the same guy.
