Went to see 300 a couple of nights ago. It was an enjoyable film, not great, but entertaining. Visually stunning, the film shows enough bare flesh to satisfy just about anyone! It's a bit gruesome and overly graphic in (possibly one too many) places - but this is Frank Miller, what did you expect?

Critics have complained that it's a bit far fetched, but this isn't a historical account of what happened, but more of a tale, told to Spartan children year after year.. and like any good tale it has it's fair share of larger than life villans and mythical beasties.

I expect fantasy and historical fans to love it.

Hot off the press, I've just got word that they want us over in the US no later than July! (that's 3 months earlier than we had planned for). Of all the seasons to go, July had to be bottom of the list! 80% humidity - not good!
